Eat & Drink

One of the best parts about visiting a new area is discovering new and exciting places to eat, or simply enjoying an old favorite in a different venue. Keeping that in mind, we’d like to highlight some of our favorite eateries.

Denny’s — This is exactly what we mean when we discuss old favorites in a different venue. Denny’s is a tried and true tradition for millions of people across the country, and there’s just something pleasant about the place, no matter what time of day or night you decide to visit.

Country Pride Restaurant — From the fresh ingredients at the salad bar to the hot and tasty chili to the endearingly sweet rolls, this restaurant is sure to hit the spot. Don’t let the fact that it’s a “truck stop restaurant” fool you — this is a great place to eat for your entire family.

Jenny’s Mexican Food — You really can’t go wrong with Mexican food, yet Jenny’s proves the importance of standing out. The food is always fresh and extremely satisfying, and the staff is always friendly and attentive to your needs. Give it a try and you’ll want to come back!

Golden China — If you’re in search of a quaint little restaurant where you can enjoy tasty food and a relaxing atmosphere, look no further. The dishes here are sizable and tasty, and the service will make sure that all of your needs are met from the moment you walk in the door.

Oscar’s Bar & Grille — Although this is a great location to enjoy lunch or dinner, it’s also a nice place to kick off your shoes (figuratively, of course) and relax for a couple of hours after a hard day of sightseeing. Sit back, order a slice of pie, and order a beer… you deserve it.

South Side Food & Drink — Happy hour. Poker tournaments. Flavorful beer. Free Wi-Fi. Tasty food. Boy, throw in a kitchen sink and this place would have everything! Oh wait… it does have a kitchen sink! Check them out and you won’t be disappointed.
