While you’re staying in Winter Park, you simply can’t deny yourself the beauty of this welcoming attraction.

Winter Park Resort 
Ask anyone in the area and they’ll tell you that the Winter Park Resort is exactly where you want to be when snow has covered the beautiful terrain of this Colorado area. Whether you’re a novice or expert, this ski resort offers the very best experience on the slopes. But that’s not all! If you want to stay active, you also have your choice of snow tubing, snowcat tours, snowshoe tours, ski bike lessons, and more. Then search through the multiple shops and eateries for a wonderful excursion into the shopping and dining experiences that the resort has to offer.

Dog Sled Rides
In search of a unique experience while you’re in the area? Then look no further than Dog Sled Rides of Winter Park. Employing more than 80 Siberian and Alaskan huskies, this guided, back country dog sled ride conducted on private property (so you don’t have to worry about walkers or skiers) is a perfect way to spend a couple of hours. Starting with a 45-minute discussion of the animals and the sledding itself, followed by a 45-minute ride, dog lovers simply can’t resist seeing these gorgeous, happy animals engaging in a healthy, fun activity. You can even take your picture with the animals… and may see some wildlife like moose or coyotes on the trail.

Hot Air Balloon Rides
Finding an awesome experience isn’t difficult in the Winter Park area. There’s always something to see and do, and taking a hot air balloon ride is a great way to spend your morning. You’ll need to get up early for this activity since that’s when breezes are gentle and the atmosphere is the most stable, but let us tell you — it’s worth it! These colorful balloons offer an amazing experience over the area, allowing you to view a beautiful landscape that changes throughout the seasons.
