To understand what drives MARS Hospitality, we need to take you back in time a bit. Just over a decade, to be precise. The year was 2004 and our company was just beginning to develop in Parker, Colorado. We may not have started in a basement or even in a garage, but the vision was similar — to take a grassroots approach to an industry that was accustomed to anything but grassroots.
We wanted to do more than just stand out in an industry of development and operations. We wanted to instill confidence in investors that our name was a world apart from what they had come to expect, and it was because of this thinking that the MARS Hospitality name was born. Guests who enter facilities that we helped develop and/or currently manage may not realize it, but they have entered a world of our own making — and while there may be a great deal of subtlety involved, you simply can’t deny that we’re doing something special here.
This philosophy has not only defined us as a company, it has helped us find great success in a very short amount of time. We have cultivated dozens of professional relationships over the past decade that enable us to provide an extensive level of detail in every facet of both development and operations management. That is why we have been able to expand not only to other parts of Colorado, but into Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota and Wisconsin, as well.
MARS Hospitality’s diverse portfolio includes well-known brands such as Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Country Inn & Suites, Candlewood Suites, and Staybridge Suites. We currently manages a total of 11 hotels, plus a commercial office building in Parker that houses Children’s Hospital Colorado Therapy Care.
Early in our expansion, we were awarded the 2007 Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) “Newcomers Award” for the Holiday In Express in Limon, Colorado. A few years later, our extended-stay hotel in Craig, Colorado won the 2011 IHG Torchbearer Award. And that same year, our full-service Grand Junction Holiday Inn was the western regional winner for the biggest increase in RevPar (Revenue per Available Room).
We are proud of our accomplishments, but enough about dwelling in the past! Thanks to our experienced staff, careful planning, and the potential of current and targeted market segments, we are looking forward to many exciting years and property opportunities to come.
Perhaps it would sound a little self-serving to say that we’re reaching for the stars, but that’s precisely what we’re doing. Between our in-house team of experts that embody a flexible, energetic management style and relentless customer service, and the relationships we’ve cultivated over the years, we are in the best position we’ve ever been to bring new clients into the fold for either development or operations management… or both.
Put your trust in MARS Hospitality and we’ll bring you into our world to show you what true success looks like.
